FQHC Specialists
We believe that everyone deserves quality health care, but it’s no secret that FQHCs are close to our heart. Learn more about our expertise and passion for these centers and their people below.
What is an FQHC?
Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is a primary care center that is community-based and patient directed. By mission and design, FQHCs exist to serve those who have limited access to healthcare, although all are welcome. Unlike most private practices, Federally Qualified Health Centers welcome low-income individuals, the uninsured, and the underinsured. Their cost of care ranks among the lowest, and they reduce the need for more expensive hospital-based and specialty care, making care affordable for those in the greatest need and saving billions of dollars for taxpayers.
Why FQHCs?
- The majority of FQHC patients are below the federal poverty line and lacking many of life’s basic necessities.
- FQHCs are providing care to those that are in the greatest need, and we share the same passion to help the underserved.
- Like those that work at FQHCs, we share the same passion to help the under-served and that’s why we partner with them and other organizations to make lives better for hungry, hurting, and homeless communities.
